Waltham Land Trust Benefit Goes Virtual

Support nature trails and land conservation by registering for the Waltham Land Trust's Green Space Blues Jam In Place live-stream party!

The Waltham Land Trust, our community’s primary environmental non-profit group, invites environmental enthusiasts of all types to its first Green Space Blues Jam In Place on July 18, 7-10 pm. Supporters of land conservation and trails are encouraged to be part of a fun, virtual live music event featuring blues Americana duo Paul Rishell and Annie Raines streamed to those who register. Links to the blues duo site and a virtual dance party will be sent the day of the show.

The Blues Jam In Place also includes a free-to-access online auction between July 15-19, with items like gift cards to local restaurants and businesses, art work, homemade goodies, and special experiences--including a package with a pass for two people to experience the thrill of axe throwing! Visit the GSBJIP webpage for details.

An anonymous donor will generously match all straight donations (not purchases) made through the auction website and during the live blues event. Money raised will go directly to fund the mission of the Land Trust to create a legacy of land conservation in Waltham by promoting, protecting, restoring and acquiring open space.
