Waltham Launches 2021 Summer Eats Program

The program offers free meals to kids and teens ages 18 and under.

WALTHAM, MA — The City of Waltham has launched its 2021 Summer Eats program, offering free meals to kids and teens ages 18 and under.

The program, provided by Waltham Boys & Girls Club, will be in place from June 28 through August 27 and provides grab and go meals with no I.D. or registration required.

Here's this year's Summer Eats schedule:

  • 11:30-11:50 a.m. lunch at MacArthur School, 494 Lincoln St.
  • 12-1 p.m. lunch at Connors Pool, 330 River St.
  • 12-1:15 p.m. lunch at Drake Playground, 3 Hazel St.
  • 12:15-12:45 p.m. breakfast and lunch at Prospect Hill Playground, 2 Hansen Rd.
  • 12:30-1 p.m. breakfast and lunch at Chesterbrook Garden, Brookway Ct.
  • 5-5:30 p.m. dinner at Gilmore Park, 96 Hall St.

Meals are provided daily, except during inclement weather. Parents or guardians can pick up multiple meals for their children at any of the locations.
