Waltham Man Dies Days After Being Hit by Car
Arthur McKinnon was struck by a slow-moving vehicle on May 11.

WALTHAM, MA - A Waltham man who hit is head after being struck by a slow-moving car last Wednesday died two days later.
Arthur McKinnon was knocked over by the car at 6:50 a.m. in the parking lot at 11 Carter St. and hit his head on the pavement, police told the Waltham News Tribune.
The 84-year-old was briefly knocked unconscious, but was awake and speaking when he was taken to the hospital, the News Tribune reported.

Two days later, McKinnon died.
McKinnon, a long-time employee of RTN Federal Credit Union in Waltham, was going about his daily routine when he was hit, according to the News Tribune.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Waltham Police Department and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
