Waltham Man Identified as Victim in Fatal Natick Crash
Authorities say the 23-year-old was killed when he collided with another car at an intersection in Natick.

WALTHAM, MA – A Waltham man was killed in a two-car crash at a Natick intersection late Tuesday night, authorities said.
Police and the district attorney's office said the 23-year-old's 2015 Subaru collided with a 2003 Acura TL at the intersection of Speen Street and Timber Lane, causing it to strike a tree. The man was freed from the car by two bystanders and taken to MetroWest Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
In the immediate aftermath of the crash, a Natick police officer on the scene used an automated external defibrillator in an attempt to resuscitate the man; shortly after, the fire department arrived and he was transported to the hospital, according to a press release.

The driver of the Acura, an 81-year-old Natick man, was uninjured during the crash. His passenger was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation by Natick police, the District Attorney's office and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section. No further information has been released.
