Waltham Mortgage Professional Named Industry Rising Star

WALTHAM, MA – A Waltham mortgage professional is among 42 industry members hailed as the most promising young stars.

Guaranteed Rate's Shant Banosian was named to Mortgage Professional America's 2016 Young Guns list, which recognizes industry professionals under 35 who are contributing to the growth of the mortgage industry.

"At only 35, most of the brokers on this list have accomplished impressive deals and have more than a decade of experience in the mortgage industry," Heather Turner, MPA journalist, said in a press release. "While doing so, they also excel in activities outside of work like investing on community programs, supporting various advocacies, and affiliating with charitable foundations. This year’s list showed that being a mortgage professional can be synonymous to being a ‘hero’ or ‘idol’ in today’s world."

According to Mortgage Professional America, Banosian has more than a decade of experience in the mortgage industry and was recent named to Guaranteed Rate's Chairman's Circle, a club for producers who exceed $100 million in annual loan value.
