Waltham Organization Schedules 1st Housing Summit For February

Politicians and other city officials will join the Waltham Community Leadership Group to discuss housing and homelessness at the summit.

WALTHAM, MA — A Waltham organization is set to host the city's first housing summit, bringing together politicians and other city officials to discuss housing and homelessness next month.

The Waltham Community Leadership Group has organized the summit for Feb. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.

"This will be Waltham's first ever housing summit and it is being organized by the WCLG, a grassroots movement led by people experiencing homelessness in the city of Waltham," WCLG officials said.

According to officials, State Sen. Michael Barret and State. Rep. Thomas Stanley are set to attend, as are Waltham city councilors and other housing and homelessness experts.
