Waltham Patch Readers Are Not Happy About the Potential Halloween Date Change

Legislation was recently introduced to fix the celebration date on the last Saturday of October.

WALTHAM, MA – A Pembroke selectman has reportedly introduced legislation to change the date of Halloween, celebrating it on the last Saturday of October.

The news was largely met with an overall (ahem) "boo" from Patch readers, as us grown-ups already celebrate the holiday on the weekend anyway. In Waltham, the Facebook responses were no different.

Now the metrics may be a bit skewed, as commenters generally sound off when they feel strongly about an idea, and it's hard to imagine anyone is fervently in the "yes" camp on this one.
