Waltham Police: Arrests for Carrying Firearm; Breaking and Entering; Shoplifting
The following are excerpts from the Waltham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Incidents, July 22
- At 9:22 a.m., Richard Hynes, 60, homeless, was arrested and charged with drinking in public
- At 6:09 p.m., Jamie Sanchez, 35, homeless, Waltham, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering misdemeanor into a building/motor vehicle, trespassing, warrant
- At 9:49 p.m., Mitchell Martinez, 28, 7 Exchange Ct., Waltham, was arrested on a warrant, number plate violation, driving with a revoked license
Incidents, July 23
- At 12:38 p.m., Michael Maillet, 26, 15 Old Colony Lane, Arlington, was arrested and charged on a warrant, shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise, miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation
- At 1:49 p.m., Paul Hunter, 28, homeless, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disturbing the peace
- At 9:33 p.m., Gregory Lavoie, 38, homeless, Waltham, was arrested on a warrant for carrying a firearm without a license
