Waltham Police, District Attorney Team Up for Back-to-School Safety Day

WALTHAM, MA – Just ahead of back-to-school season, the Waltham Police Department is joining the Middlesex District Attorney's office for a demonstration on safety tips for your children.

Held at the Middlesex District Attorney's office in Woburn Sep. 10, officials are offering families a free day of demonstrations as your kids return to school.

Kids will have to opportunity to watch a K-9 demonstration, explore emergency vehicles and learn healthy habits from clinicians at Winchester Hospital by performing a "checkup" on their teddy bears.

Police will also be performing car seat safety inspections and installations for free.

Don't miss your chance to instill safe habits in your children Saturday, Sep. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Middlesex District Attorney's office, 15 Commonwealth Ave. in Woburn.
