UPDATE: Waltham Police Seek Alleged Bank Robber

Police are seeking the help of the public to identify a man who allegedly robbed Rockland Trust.

Waltham police are seeking a suspect they say robbed a local bank.

On July 9 at 10:10 a.m., police responded to Rockland Trust Bank at 1290 Main St. for a reported bank robbery.

Police say a white male, 6 feet tall, 40-60 years of age, dark mustache, grey beard, dark blue hoodie sweatshirt with a plaid design, light blue baseball hat with “C&A” on it, blue jeans and white sneakers with stripes carrying a black shoulder bag, walked into the bank, demanded an undisclosed amount of money by passing a note to the teller.

He fled south on Stow Street.

No weapon was used.

Police posted surveillance shots (attached) on its Twitter page in an effort to locate this suspect. Call 78--314-3600 with info.
