The brainchild of Waltham resident Miriam Cohen Franzen is expected to welcome customers next month.

A new shop in Waltham is expected to dish out a variety of popped kernel flavors come July. Waltham Popcorn, the brainchild of resident Miriam Cohen Franzen, is eyeing an opening at 901 B Main St. next month.

The store will offer several popcorn flavors, ranging from the classic - butter and salt - to the adventurous - fruit basket.
