Waltham Raffle to Benefit Resident Injured in Motorcycle Accident
According to a GoFundMe campaign, Billy Turpin was involved in a serious motorcycle crash in September.

WALTHAM, MA – After he was injured in a serious motorcycle crash last month, Waltham resident Billy Turpin's friends and family set up a GoFundMe campaign to aid in his recovery.
Now, they're taking it a step further with "A Night to Benefit Billy" Nov. 19. The fundraising event at the American Legion will include food, a cash bar and raffle prizes.
According to the GoFundMe page, Turpin was involved in a serious motorcycle crash on Sept. 11. After spending weeks in the hospital, he was moved to a rehabilitation facility Sept. 28. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser and the GoFundMe campaign will be donated to his family to assist in his recovery.
