Waltham Releases Final 2021 Municipal Election Candidate List

WALTHAM, MA — The City of Waltham has released the final candidate list for the 2021 municipal election, set to take place Tuesday, November 2.

There will be three contested races this year, with Chris Gamble running against incumbent Joseph Lacava in Ward 5, Paul Katz and David Russo running for Ward 7 councillor, and Juan Carlos Ascencio challenging incumbent Jonathan Paz in Ward 9.

Seven people are running for the city's six councilor at large positions, five of which are incumbents, and four people are on the ballot for school committee.

There will be no preliminary election this year, said city officials.
