Waltham Releases Transportation Master Plan, Asks Residents for Feedback

The city is seeking comments from anyone who lives, works or commutes in the Watch City.

WALTHAM, MA – Waltham has released its latest Transportation Master Plan for the future of travel in the city.

The TMP focuses on all modes of transportation, including bicycles, mass transit and pedestrian walkways. It delves into strategies for operating, managing and financing the Waltham transportation network through recommendations for approximately 25 key aspects of infrastructure.

These include improvements on four corridors, 20 key intersections, one major bus route and parking strategies for downtown.

The city is also asking anyone the TMP impacts – people who live, work or commute in Waltham – to submit comments or feedback about the plan. Submissions will be accepted from now until Dec. 14.
