Waltham Residents Show Support for Police After Dallas Shootings
The Waltham Police Department received gifts from several grateful residents over the weekend.
Waltham, MA –Waltham residents turned out to the police station Saturday and Sunday to thank the officers for their service in the wake of last Thursday's tragedy in Dallas.
Among the gifts were flowers, coffee, donuts, cookies and assorted treats. Waltham Police took to social media to express their gratitude for the support from those who they protect and serve.
"It's good to know you have our backs," the department wrote on Twitter. "We still have yours."
