Waltham Riverfest Starts This Weekend

The fourth annual Waltham Riverfest will kickoff this weekend filled with events for families and children. 

The festival starts on June 15 and ends on June 17, according to a press release. On Friday, the hours are 6 p.m – 9 p.m.. The party runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the next two days. Events will be held at various parts of Waltham, including the Moody Street bridge. For a full schedule of events, visit the festival’s website.

Also, there are backup plans to move events indoors if the weather hinders activities.

Musical performances, raffles and a guide nature walk are just some of the activities scheduled. Henry Santoro, from WFNX 101.7, will emcee the event. 

The Downtown Partnership, Hobbs Brook Management LLC, Watch Factory Lofts, 210 Moody Street LLC and the Jones Partnership Grant are sponsoring the event, along with others, according to the release.
