Waltham’s RTN Credit Union Merges With Artmet Credit Union
The merger was approved on Nov. 17 is effective as of Wednesday, Dec. 1.

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham-based RTN Federal Credit Union has officially merged with Artmet Federal Credit Union, a decision that was approved on Nov. 17 and went into effect on Wednesday.
Artmet currently serves the employees and family members of Artisan Industries in Stoughton, formerly located in Waltham. Artisan Industries has been providing innovative thermal separation process solutions for over 85 years and Artmet currently has 49 members and $300,000 in assets.
“I want to acknowledge the hard work and leadership that went into building Artmet Federal Credit Union through the years,” said RTN Treasurer and CEO Richard Wright in a statement. “We hope our new members will enjoy access to a wider offering of products and services that include mortgage loans, financial planning, insurance products, debit and credit cards, as well as a large ATM network.”
