Waltham Student Wins a Car

Kenny Jones is the proud owner of a new pre-owned car.

A student has won the greatest gift a student can get - a car!

Kenny Jones won a pre-owned 2000 Honda Accord at the high school on Tuesday, May 16 as part of the Village Automotive Group's Keys To Success Program, according to a press release.

The program gives students prizes for performing well in school. Over the course of th eyear, they receive "Key Cards" they can redeem for cash or prizes.

On Tuesday, Jones and two other randomly chosen students were each given keys to a car, but only one of them started the car. Jones got the winning key. 

The program started in 2007 as part of the Village Automotive's Group's efforts to reward students for good academic performance. Ray Ciccolo owns the chain of dealships hwihc has brancehs in Newton, Watertown and other nearby communities.
