Waltham Veterans Memorial Complex Reopens This Week
City officials will celebrate with a grand reopening schedule on Friday.
WALTHAM, MA — The Veterans Memorial Athletic Complex is finally set to reopen this week, city officials announced.
A grand reopening ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m. at the newly renovated complex at 385 Forest St.
The project, which saw new turf installed at the complex, actually finished a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, as the facility was originally set to be closed until Sept. 1.

NESRA Engineering was hired to design specifications for turf replacement of the fields at the complex. Funding was approved and the contract was awarded to David W. White & Sons. T
The facility has been closed for renovations since June 1.
