Waltham vs. Lincoln-Sudbury Nominated as FOX25 Game of the Week

WALTHAM, MA – The 3-2 Hawks hope to continue their success this week, fresh off of a gritty, defense-led win against Westford.

And for the first time this season, Waltham's matchup has been nominated for FOX 25's "Game of the Week."

Led by coach John Bourque, the Hawks have shown promise this season, despite hovering close to .500. Both the offense and defense have risen to the occasion in key victories, most notably in Waltham's 15-14 barnburner win in Week 2 and last week's 14-6 victory. Can they pull off the W this week and keep the momentum going?

The Hawks will face off against the Warriors this Friday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. As of Wednesday morning, the game was second to last in voting. Click here to help your team become the FOX 25 "Game of the Week."
