THE HISTORY
The rivalry game between the two teams is in an infancy when compared to the likes of Malden-Medford, Newton North-Brookline and Wellesley-Needham. Waltham began playing Malden Catholic in 2010 after the Hawks' longstanding rival, Brockton, opted to play Bridgwater-Raynham on Thanksgiving – a change spurred by the Old Colony League transitioning from Division 1 to Division 1A.
Overall: Malden Catholic leads the series, 4-2
