Waltham vs. Masconomet: MIAA Playoffs

WALTHAM, MA – Waltham football heads to Masconomet Friday night at 7 p.m. for the first round of the MIAA playoffs.

The 4-3 Hawks, seeded sixth in the North Division 2, enter the playoffs with a 13.86 power rating. The 5-2 Chieftains, seeded third, hold a 17.00 power rating. Waltham is one of three teams entering the tournament a game above .500, alongside Somerville and Concord-Carlisle.

Though Waltham faces a tough challenge in Masco, the Hawks have shown promise this year, with both offense and defense rising to the occasion in key games.
