Waltham Weekend Arrests: Battery On Police Officer, More

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham police regularly update their arrest records, showing the community who was arrested for what. Charges listed below do not indicate guilt or conviction; they solely indicate accusations of offenses having been committed.

Friday, Dec. 13

James MacDonald, 25, of Leominster, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. on charges of shoplifting, resisting arrest and false identification.

Joshua Therenciel, 24, of Dorchester, was arrested around 2 a.m. on charges of unarmed burglary and defacing property.

David Escalera, 34, of Waltham, was arrested around 12:10 p.m. on charges of trafficking opiates, intent to distribute a class B drug, possession with intention to distribute a class 1 drug, driving with a suspended or revoked license, false identification and an outstanding warrant.

Robert Marshall, 55, of Waltham, was arrested around 1 p.m. on charges of drinking in public, possession of a class e drug and an outstanding warrant.

Saturday, Dec. 14

Istvan Wells, 34, of Newton, was arrested around 3:45 a.m. on charges of failure to stop or yield and OUI liquor, first offense.

Timothy LeBlanc, 52, of Waltham, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. on charges of larceny from a building, trespassing and breaking and entering at nighttime in the commission of a felony.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Gloria Saavedra, 31, of Waltham, was arrested around 6 p.m. on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer.
