Waltham Youth Soccer Clubs Qualify for National Cup in Colorado
Three teams will head to Aurora on July 22 for U.S. Club Soccer's three-day tournament.

Waltham, MA – Three youth soccer clubs from Waltham will head west next weekend for the National Cup XV Finals in Colorado.
The three-day tournament, organized by U.S. Club Soccer, is the culmination of a year-long competition among qualifiers from 19 regional leagues across the country.
More than 2,000 athletes from 120 teams in 30 states will convene at the Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, CO from July 22-25 for the cup.

Three teams from Waltham qualified for the cup this year:
• GPS Massachusetts NPL 01/02 (U-14 boys, U-15 boys)

• GPS Massachusetts NPL 99/00 (U-16 boys)
U.S. Club Soccer was founded in 2001 and boasts member teams from all 50 states. The organization hosts more than 400 tournaments annually and has produced elite youth players who have enrolled in professional leagues and Division I college programs.
