Brothers Marketplace will host its grand opening to the community on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Mayor
Jeannette McCarthy will be joining for a ribbon cutting and the first 100 shoppers will receive
a $10 Brothers Marketplace gift card.

The folks over at Brothers say everything should be up and running at the 8,500-square-foot market that day, from the salad bar to the hot grab and go items: sandwiches to sushi.

Brothers Pat and Bud Roche founded Roche Bros. Supermarkets in 1952. Brothers Marketplace is a next-generation spinoff, by Pat's sons and current owners Rick and Ed Roche.

The Roche brothers have opened two other marketplaces, which are a smaller version of their massive grocery stores and more specialty focused than the kind you might find in West Roxbury. The Waltham Brothers Marketplace will be even a bit smaller than the company's Weston and Medfield supermarkets.

The new market is located at The Merc at Moody & Main and will be open Monday-Saturday
7 a.m.-9p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
