Saturday: Waltham's First Annual Recovery Fest

WALTHAM, MA – This year, Waltham will host a special fundraising event aimed at raising awareness about substance use and addiction.

The first annual Recovery Fest, presented by Waltham Overcoming Addiction and Arlington Overcoming Addiction, and sponsored by the Amethyst Recovery Center, comes to Waltham October 2.

The event will feature dancing, vendors and resources for those struggling with substance abuse, as well as a 10K walk, Warrior Dash and DJ Battle competition.

The event itself is free, though registration for the 10K, Warrior Dash and DJ Battle is $30; the organization is also accepting suggested donations of $15.
