WALTHAM, MA — The renovation project on Leary Field in Waltham is showing continued signs of progress, and city officials released photos of some of the latest developments.

Construction work began in September 2022 and, once completed, the property will feature new lights, a resurfaced 400-meter track, plenty of turf, including a new baseball field, a fieldhouse with locker room and restrooms and a 1,000-seat grandstand.

The property at 19 Athletic Field Rd. will also feature an expansion of the parking lot.
