Waltham's Lowell Field Closed For Renovations Starting This Week

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham parents may need to adjust their after school or weekend plans, at least when it comes to where they take their kids to play.

Lowell Field Playground, 190 Grove St., will be closed beginning on Wednesday, city officials announced.

The playground will remain closed through construction, as it will be renovated as part of the Waltham Recreation Department's Capital Improvement Projects.

Among the improvements slated for the playground are expanded parking, a walking and running path and more.
