Waltham's RTN Federal Credit Union Launches Financial Education Series

Looking to improve your financial literacy this year? The first seminar takes place in Waltham this month.

WALTHAM, MA – Not everyone is a wizard when it comes to managing personal finances, including yours truly.

RTN Federal Credit Union is hosting its financial education series throughout 2017, kicking it off in Waltham Jan. 26 with its inaugural seminar, "Be Money Smart for the New Year." The free financial courses cover a wide range of topics, including how to develop a budget, buy or sell a home, plan for retirement and prevent identity theft.

"RTN’s focus on financial education stems from our mission as a Credit Union to help our members be financially successful," says Sarita Ledani, assistant vice president of Business Development. "Along with our great products and services, we want our members to have tools to help them take charge of their financial lives."
