Want To Hear The Pope Speak in Washington D.C.?

Congresswoman Katherine Clark is holding an essay contest in which the winner can hear the Pope speak before a joint session of Congress.

On Sept. 24, Pope Francis will deliver the first-ever address by a leader of the Holy See to a joint session of Congress.

Each Member of Congress may invite one person to attend this historic event.

Congresswoman Katherine Clark would like to invite a resident of her Congressional district, which includes Waltham, whose story, life, or life’s work embodies the message of social justice offered by Pope Francis.

DEADLINE: All essays must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday August, 20.
