Watch: Moose Does Early Morning Cardio in Belmont, Watertown

The young mammal was first spotted trotting down Waverley Avenue in Watertown before cutting into Belmont.

BELMONT, MA - Don't let its size fool you - that animal has some wheels.

A young moose was spotted today getting its cardio on through Watertown and Belmont.

According to a video posted to the Watertown Police Department's Facebook page, it was first seen early Wednesday morning trotting down Waverley Avenue in Watertown. In a surprising act of awareness, it also managed to confine its jog to the sidewalk.

Having not yet hit its wall, it ran into Belmont, where it was spotted on Bartlett Avenue. This time it ventured out into the street, but safely made it to the woods near Concord Avenue.
