Water Shut Down on Beaver Street Monday Night

The next piece of the Beaver Street culvert replacement project takes place on Monday, April 13.

Waltham’s city engineer and Mayor McCarthy announced that final preparations were made during the day for Monday night work on the Beaver Street culvert replacement project.

The contractor will install two new water gates on Beaver Street, one on either side of the culvert.

To do this week, the city reported that the water main will be shut down between 8 p.m. and turned back on by 5 a.m. The work allows the water main to be isolated while the new culvert is being installed.

The road will still be open to traffic.
