WALTHAM, MA — The Waltham School Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. to determine whether or not the district will participate in the State School Choice Program.

The hearing will be held in the James J. Cannon Lecture Hall at Waltham High School, located at 617 Lexington Street. All community members are welcome to attend and weigh in on the decision.

The annual State School Choice Program vote is required by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 76, Section 12B. If it passes, non-resident students will be able to enroll in the Waltham Public Schools.
