Wings Over Withdrawing Proposed Waltham Location
Proposed restaurant withdrawing application to have Waltham location.

According to the Waltham City Clerk's office, has withdrawn its application to open a new location in Waltham.
While details are still scarce, Savin Foods, which would lease the land for the proposed site at 110-112 Lexington St., has submitted a request to withdraw its application for a fast food permit, according to the City Clerk's office. A spokesman for Savin Foods, who would not give his full name, confirmed the withdrawl request, but would not elaborate.
The withdrawl comes after a the City Council's Ordinance and Rules Committee sent the permit request to the city's Law Department for denial, according to the clerk's office. Also, the withdrawl comes after some residents opposed the eatery.

The City Counil, however, will vote on whether to accept the withdrawl request on Monday, Dec. 12, according to the clerk's office.
