Woman steals tomatoes from nonprofit farm for 3rd year
Early this morning someone stole nearly 100 pounds of tomatoes from Waltham Fields Community Farm. It isn't the first time for this woman.

Apparently even the "video surveillance" signs did not deter a woman from paying an early morning visit to Waltham Fields Community Farm and making off with close to 100 pounds of tomatoes in the early morning of Friday, September 1st. This was not the first time...video cameras caught the same woman last year, also on Labor Day weekend, consolidating tomatoes into a few of the bins and storing them into the back of her Honda CRV before driving off.
The woman has platinum blond hair, and was wearing capri pants and a 'Boston' t-shirt. Please contact Waltham Police Department with any leads.
A similar theft, also on Labor Day weekend, happened in 2015, prompting the video camera installation. After catching her on camera in 2016, but not quite being able to make out the license plate, staff at Waltham Fields decided this year to post the warning signage. Sensing the mystery woman might return, they had planned to bring the tomatoes indoors on Friday night for the weekend, but she came early on Friday morning.
