Woman Wants Ornaments, Letters to Santa, Back That Were Sold at Waltham Estate Sale
A box of Christmas keepsakes was accidentally sold at an estate sale this summer. This woman hopes to get them back.

On Friday, July 3, of this year, Lucy Lang’s memories went out the door when her mother had an estate sale at her home in Waltham.
During it, someone purchased a large bin of Christmas ornaments and other keepsakes. The bin was sold accidentally.
“I store the bin every year at my mother’s home,” said Lang. “I don’t know why anyone would have purchased these, and they were in an area that was not for viewing, or sale.”

Lang added that in the box were letters to Santa from her daughter, as well as ornaments made by her daughter, and her father, who passed away in December of 2014.
“These are years of memories that can never be replaced and I am completely heart broken,” she said. “My children’s first ornaments and my own childhood ornaments-I would do anything to have these back. My whole family is heartbroken and devastated.”
