UPDATE: Woman Cries 'Police Brutality,' Then Sucks Her Finger in the Mugshot
A Waltham, MA, woman was taken in after she allegedly punched a friend in the throat and threatened police. Now, her mugshot's everywhere

A rather unusual mugshot has gone viral after a Waltham woman decided to suck her finger in the shot while being booked by Ashland, MA, police.
Police say an apparently-drunk Anna Piccioli was placed in protective custody after an alleged fight with a friend on May 6 in Ashland. Piccioli, 26, lives at 36 Cushing St., Waltham. According to police records, police were called to the house, with the victim stating that Piccoli was agitated, closed her fist, and punched her in the throat.
When police arrived at Piccioli’s house, she questioned why they were there. Smelling a strong odor of alcohol, police asked her how much she had to drink. She said, “One nip of vodka,” while unsteady on her feet.

“She swayed back and forth when she spoked to me,” said an officer, who added that Piccoli refused to answer any questioning. She was placed under protective custody, and cuffed.
Piccioli kicked the doors and roof of the cruiser, as well as the partition that divides the front from the back seat, said police, and shouted “police brutality” and “wait until you see what my wrists are going to look like.”

“She continued this behavior until we arrived at the station,” said the officer’s report.
According to Ashland Police, she was charged with assault and battery, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and escape.
“The charges are a result of an escape attempt while in protective custody when she ran toward the exit of the police station while she was being escorted to a holding cell,” said Lt. David J. Beaudoin of the Ashland Police Department.
Numerous media outlets have shared Piccioli’s mugshot, including New York Daily News, which quipped, “She sucks at mug shots.” Police responded to a home after calls that she had punched friend Erin Hoover, said New York Daily News.
The Smoking Gun, which reported that Picciolo had “dampened digit during photo session,” said that when she got to the station, she broke free, ran and a female officer tackled her. The officer was slightly injured.
Ashland police confirmed that when Piccioli was in the booking area, she ripped her arm away from the officer’s grip and ran down the hallway. Officers assisted in regaining control in her, and Officer Kaiser sustained an injury to her wrist.
While in her cell, Piccioli slammed her fist into the toilet, and violently banged on the cell door, causing minor inuries to her hand. When officers asked if she needed medical attention, Piccioli replied, “go f---- yourself.”
