Hello, my name is Randy Leblanc.
I am truly honored to be elected as your councilor
Every so often I ask myself why do I do this?
It is not for the money!
It is because I have a deep love for the city of Waltham and all that is has to offer.
I was born and raised in Waltham.
I live here with my wife, Tiffany, and our twin 17-year-old daughters, Ava, and Nina and our 11-year-old son, Oscar.
I grew up in the construction field and for over 30 years have owned and operated Leblanc Mechanical, a local heating and air-conditioning company.
I bring that business experience skill set to the city council.
I will always work to unite Waltham
I am also one of the coordinators of the 2nd annual moody street car show & the 135thWaltham celebration parade
I intend to bring back an old school track and field day.
I am currently serving on the board which will host the special Olympics in Waltham in the spring with the goal of bringing the city together so everyone can feel a sense of community.
As a Waltham resident, I am encouraged by our many new parks and 6 new schools, while keeping our property taxes low.
I am also looking forward to the opening of the new Waltham high school, which will bring much needed vocational education to our city.
I currently serve as the chair of the public works and public safety committee.
My council colleagues and I recently promoted and supported the mayor’s request for a large budget increase for rodent control for the board of health, with nonpoisonous solutions
I was proud to serve on the design committee for the “soon to be opened” rail trail.
This will increase biking and walking access from Weston all the way to Belmont for all residents.
I was also proud to partake in supporting the CPC funding for the affordable housing that is going to be built at the Leland home where 100% of the units will be affordable with the first preference to “Waltham“ residents.
However, there is not much time for a victory lap!
There are many projects in this thriving city, that we need to complete while always striving to make Waltham a better, cleaner, safer, more sustainable and affordable place to live.
I ask that you please cast one of you 6 at large votes for Randy LeBlanc & please vote for 6 .
Thank you to all that believe in me to be your voice,
Councilor at large ,
Randy LeBlanc
