Your Waltham Weather: Warm, Cloudy With a Chance of Thunderstorms Earlier in the Week

See what your weather looks like for the week ahead.

After temperatures soared near 90 degrees on Mother’s Day, the week ahead is looking a bit cooler, but still warm. Monday is expected to be a cloudy one, before we see partial sunshine and much warmer temperatures Tuesday, before cooling off again with more clouds on Wednesday. The next fully sunny day is expected on Thursday.

Here’s a look at this week’s current weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Monday: Monday’s expected to be a cloudy day with highs near 78, with a 20 percent chance of a thunderstorm. There will be considerable cloudiness Monday night with a chance rain showers late night. Lows near 57 degrees.
  • Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high of 81. Tuesday night might bring thunderstorms, too, with a low of 53.
  • Wednesday: Slight chance of showers after noon, but mostly sunny with high near 67. Nighttime will be partly cloudy.
  • Thursday: A bright sunny day is on tap for Thursday with a high of 66. The night’s going to be mostly clear.

Right now next weekend looking good, with a sunny Friday and partly cloudy Friday night. Saturday’s looking to be partly sunny, with a chance of showers on Saturday night.
