• MBTA Launches Fare Pilot Programs: Unlimited Transfers, Cheaper Express Bus, Free Rides for Seniors (wror.com) — Watertown riders on the 504 Express Bus will see fares drop sharply this September, alongside new unlimited two-hour transfers and free rides for qualifying seniors over 75. These MBTA pilot programs could become permanent if enough people use them, so local officials are urging residents to take advantage of the cheaper, more flexible options.
