• Lander Officially Requests Recount in State Senate Race, Will Take Place Week of Labor Day (watertownmanews.com) — A razor-thin State Senate race affecting all of Watertown is heading to a recount, with challenger Daniel Lander just a few dozen votes behind Sen. Will Brownsberger. Watertown's portion of the recount will start Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. in City Hall, and residents are welcome to observe the ballot review even though they cannot participate directly.
