$1M Scratch Ticket Winner In Wayland
The winner is accepting the lump-sum prize through a trust, keeping their anonymity intact.
WAYLAND, MA — It's no $1.5 billion Powerball prize, but it's nothing to sneeze either.
A $1 million winning scratch ticket was sold in late October at a local gas station, according to the state Lottery Commission. The winner is accepting the $650,000 pre-tax lump sum prize through a trust, so their identity was not released.
The person (or persons) won playing the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game.
