Important Hearing On 40B Monster Apartment Complex: ZBA

The developer behind the 40B Monster apartment complex pulled a switcheroo in January -- presenting a completely new plan. Did he reduce the number of units? A smaller septic system? Less impact on traffic? Nope! His Monster Version 2 is just as big and bad as Version 1, and worse for traffic on Route 20. The longest and most massive building in Wayland (Version 1) will now be the tallest and most massive building in Wayland (Version 2) -- plus it will be 40 feet closer to the road. The same number of units (60). The same large septic system, next to Pine Brook and just upstream from hundreds of kids at Camp Chickami. Plus two full entrances / exits onto Route 20, instead of one!
