WAYLAND, MA — Unofficial results are in for Wayland's 2026 Annual Town Election, featuring 10 races.
Residents went to the polls on Tuesday to vote on the Select Board, Moderator, Board of Health, Planning Board, Recreation Commissioner, Board of Public Works, School Committee, Board of Assesors, Trustees of the Public Library and Commissioner of Trust Funds.
Voting was held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wayland Town Building Gymnasium, and the town clerk's office released an unofficial vote count Tuesday night.
Write-in totals are expected to be tallied on Wednesday morning, Town Clerk Trudy Reid said.
There were 782 votes cast, which represents 7.4 percet of the town's 10,613 registered voters.
The voter turnout for this election was up one percent from last year, as 679 votes were cast in the 2025 Annual Town Election, according to offical results.
