• Wayland Annual Town Meeting Recap: Voters Approve Budget, Housing Changes (patch.com) — Wayland residents wrapped up Annual Town Meeting by approving the fiscal 2027 operating and capital budgets, along with key housing and zoning changes affecting Route 20 and accessory dwelling units. Voters also backed funding for a long-term water supply project, new liquor licenses, green burials, and a ban on cryptocurrency machines, while several Sherman’s Bridge citizen petitions failed or were postponed.    

• Temple Shir Tikva in Wayland installs solar panels for sustainability (metrowestdailynews.com) — Temple Shir Tikva on Route 20 in Wayland has completed a 264-kilowatt solar energy system, including rooftop panels and solar canopies, now fully operational. Funded through a long-term power purchase agreement, the project reflects the congregation’s commitment to sustainability and Jewish values while cutting energy costs and generating clean electricity on-site for decades.
