Glezen Lane Road Closure To Begin In Wayland

WAYLAND, MA — Glezen Lane will close to through traffic for several hours daily beginning Monday as roadway work continues in town.

The closure will affect Glezen Lane between Concord Road and Draper Road from about 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning Monday, July 6, according to the Wayland Department of Public Works.

Drivers will be detoured from Concord Road to Claypit Hill Road, Plain Road and Draper Road.

Homeowners will continue to have access to their properties during the work, although brief delays may occur, according to the DPW. Police details will be stationed in the area to help with traffic and resident access.

The closures are intended to keep through traffic out of the construction zone while crews complete roadway improvements.

The Wayland DPW and Wayland Police Department will post daily updates on their Facebook pages about road closures and construction progress.
