Volunteers Needed to Play with Local Homeless Children

Volunteer to Play!

Central, MA. — Horizons for Homeless Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts by ensuring that they are prepared for school success. We provide high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.

Volunteer to play with homeless children in one of more than 150 family shelters statewide, including in the Worcester area. The commitment is just two hours a week, but it’ll make a real difference in their lives. And in yours.

The next training will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 9:30am-3:30pm in Hudson, MA. Other training dates and locations available year round. To apply or find out more, call 508-755-2615 or visit horizonschildren.org/playspaces.
