Back To School: Wayland Public Schools 2023-24 School Calendar

Wayland students return to school after Labor Day. Here are the key dates to know for 2023-24.

WAYLAND, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Wayland, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day of school for all grade levels in Wayland Public Schools

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Wayland Public Schools

  • First day, pre-K and grades 1 to 12: Sept. 5
  • Kindergarten first day: Sept. 7
  • Columbus Day: Oct. 9
  • Veterans Day: Nov. 10
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 early release to Nov. 24
  • Christmas Break: Dec. 25 to Jan. 1
  • MLK Day: Jan. 15
  • February Break: Feb. 19 to 23
  • Good Friday: March 29
  • April Vacation: April 15 to 19
  • Memorial Day: May 27
  • Last Day: June 14 (with no snow days)

And if you really want to get some planning done, the Wayland School Committee has also approved the 2024-25 calendar.
