Breaking News: Two Alarm Fire on Dudley Road, No Injuries

A two alarm fire occurred around 7:20 p.m. at 123 Dudley Road. The fire is currently under control and no injuries have been reported.

According to Wayland Deputy Fire Chief, Vincent J. Smith, at 7:24 p.m. someone reported a fire at 123 Dudley Road. There was no one home at the time and the fire is currently under investigation. According to Smith, the damage is considered a total loss.

“When we arrived at the house it was fully involved meaning that we worked more in a defensive mode than an offensive mode,” said Smith. “There were no life safety issues for us.”

The received help from the Natick, Weston and Sudbury Fire Departments. The Sudbury Fire Department helped cover the Wayland Center station and the Weston Fire Department helped cover the station on Cochituate Road.
