Business Spotlight: Sen. Ross Visits Volante Farms of Needham

Continuing his small business spotlight across his district, State Senator Richard Ross recently visited Volante Farms in Needham.
Volante Farms is a family run business, owned by Dave and Steve Volante, who took over the operations after generations of Volantes had managed the successful farm. The newest farm stand opened in 2012 and includes a full service deli, bakery, ice cream stand, and farm kitchen.

The space not only has the room to expand their existing products, but to create brand new selections by their truly talented crew of bakers and cooks. They also only stock locally grown and produced items which offer consumers an alternative approach when buying their food.
“This is another great small business built upon hard work, dedication, and family,” said Sen. Ross. “I love shopping at Volante Farms and if you have never been, I’d recommend it. It is truly a unique experience.”
